Missional Vocational Pathway
This nine-month discipleship journey is designed specifically for the Bay Area, offering a holistic program that weaves together deep biblical and theological instruction, spiritual practices, and a supportive, cohort-based community.
With an emphasis on real-world application, participants will explore what it means to follow Jesus in the unique cultural and professional landscape of the Bay Area—engaging topics including the role of technology, God’s purpose for work, and how to integrate faith meaningfully into any profession.
Overview
The Goal: Integration
Workplaces of the Bay Area shape culture on a global scale. But too often, Christians separate their faith from work. This nine-month journey is designed to help Christians cultivate integration in a cohort community through theology, practical application, spiritual exercises, and a process of discerning your call. The result is a missional life lived in the presence of God.
The Journey: Growth In Community
Over the course of the program, you will work through a series of eight content modules along with a spiritual discernment of calling woven throughout. Each of these will help you to connect the Bible to your everyday work, apply new ideas throughout the week, and grow in your faith.
The Problem: Disintegration
Many Christians don’t understand how their faith and work relate to each other, leading to a life of dis-integration. This makes it difficult to represent Christ in the workplace resulting in an impaired witness, and an inability to make decisions from a kingdom perspective, which we call ill-informed influence.
Join with other Bay Area churches to bring this discipleship experience to your communities. Throughout the nine months, there will be opportunities to connect with participants from other churches.
The entire program will conclude with a joint closing retreat.
